Breathe Lyrics - Angels And Airwaves

Review The Song (6)

A blue-black shade of love.
Sent from above.
My hands are tied, two worlds alone,
And this I know.
Your breath's like wine,
And just like clouds, my skin crawls.
It's so divine, the sky it glows with fields of light.

Did you know that I love you?
Come and lay with me.
and I'll love you
Until the end of time.

My hands shake clasped with fear, as you come near
To say goodnight, just like a dove.
A peaceful sign.
To help us by, as you come in,
Let this begin.
Stars fall like dust, our lips will touch,
We speak too much.

Did you know that I love you?
Come and lay with me.
and I'll love you
Until the end of time.

Did you know that I love you?
Come and lay with me.
I love you.
And honesty, I love you.
Yiu make me feel alive.
and I'll love you
Until the end of time.

I've got a lot to say, if you will let me
It's always hard, when you're around me
But here right now, there's interest in your eyes
So hear me out, and hear this the first time.

That I... love you (come and lay with me)
Till the end of time

This is quite possibly the most heartfelt song from either of their releases. Tom has a way about his lyrics and his voice that just draws you into what he's talking about. This song is not about sex, love isn't always about sex. I know how he feels and what he is dealing with in the song. Great song nonetheless. Great everything to be honest :P

well this song is really about love, "it's always hard around you" is referring to speaking.

"there's intrest in your eyes" is suggesting that she's interested in him, but not in that manner.

come and play with me isnt in the lyrics.

amazing song though(:

Love not sex | Reviewer: Hotssssoooonnn | 11/29/08

when he says its always hard when youre around me is about telling her how he feels, hence the ive got alot to say, if you will let me and then going to how its hard to tell her but she seems interested and he is going to try. and no where does it say "play" with me it says "lay"

this song is flawless, much like everything else AVA does. they are the greatest band of all time, but that's a different story.

the overriding theme of this song is obviously love. and sure, people will probably argue the difference between infatuation and love with this song/sexual references. for example-
"come and lay with me"
yeah, sure, this can be taken completely in a sexual manner. but let's analyze it a little further. perhaps tom is just saying that he wants her by his side. sometimes that's all you need is a person, whom you love, right next to you. also -
'let this begin'
again, we must ask ourselves what 'this' is. could be another sexual reference, but if you think so i must honestly say that you need to get your head out of the gutter for a second or two. it is the beginning of something new, something good for both of them - the relationship. they are both willing and committed to the idea of them being together.

i am firmly rooted in the fact that this song is about love and nothing more.

isit me or is this song more or less a blink style song?

Yes its about love but also i think it is about sex...

''It's always hard, when you're around me'' that is on aobut a males genitailer, And then... Theres interest in your eyes... as if the female is thinkin about sex... then come and play with me just speaks foe its self
