evanescence has always made dark music. it actually means something though and i think that it makes a really good song. they dont just play whatever someone writes them like pop music, they actually write all of it and it never fails. that is why i love this band so much.

And yet another brilliant piece of music from the lovely and ever so talented Amy Lee. The lyrics are wrapped around the keys of the song in such a gentle way that it remains soft but conveys a sad and deeper meaning. Amy's voice is god sent and her tone caresses the lyrics in a haunting way. Truly Beautiful.

I am stunned.......I've loved Evanescence ever since I heard about them back when I was in 5th grade,and I've always been obsessed with Amy Lee's voice, but this song has blown me away. Alot of Evanescence's songs have fit my life perfectly, but listening to this one, I feel like Breathe No More was made especially for me. It's beautiful

This song is one of my favourites. The lyrics first off, are amazing, and the song definatly evokes strong emotions. This song really connects with you. I love it. Evanescence is a great band, and Amy Lee's voice is even better live.

This is an amazing song. The vocals are the best I have ever heard by any girl singer and the piano is absolutely beautiful. It describes me. And I agree with you Mike a lot of people don't know the meaning of shattered.

I love this song, it describes soo many things in me and that i would like to show it to many many people that does not know the meaning of being shattered.

this is, without a doubt, one of Evanescence's best songs. it evokes emotion from so many and the fact that people can relate to the song itself is rather rare. there aren't many songs that can bring such a powerful reaction from people...and most people put Evanescence down but this just proves how closed their minds are.

I think this is a brilliant piece of music. The musical performance is one of the best currently for any band. Contrary to many people I think I pretty suicidal or about the process of dying. Dying for love? Desperation? I don't really know, but dying. I love the song because, music aside, its capable of giving hope. Every person’s got two faces, both die together, both live together but they are loved separately.
Ah! and by the way I don’t think Evanescence is a girly band, I think is a very good band that sustains and support the rebirth of the real music darkened for years by the shadow of the megacoporations behind the RAP and hip-hop. I am not young, I am male and I grew up listening (and playing) music from Death, Sepultura, Necronomicon, My dying bride, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Etc. and lots of my mates also love this band so, if someone think that making fine Heavy Metal it’s girly then I’ll just say to them

I love this song, and I finally found someone who can type this song correctly ^^' I saw some people write Breath No More O.o' Anyways I just wanted to tell that the part: "Too small to matter, but big enough to matter" is awesome I have chills every time I listen to this song I LOVE IT. Anyone who's a Fellow Evanescence add me angel-sven@hotmail.com :P By the way, I'm a male, which is weird to most of people that I actually listen to Evanescence.. But they are my favourite band ^^'

I listened to this song first in my step-mom's car and I couldn't hear it that well so I didn't really think any thing of it really (gasp!)
So when I got home and listened to it I was confused on the lyrics (Anywhere but home version hard to hear over the screaming) but loved the tune and the notes that Amy Lee sang...She has an amazing voice.
So all in all this song really touched me and I like the way a person who review previous to me said that it shows how people really are because that was very accurate.
Anywayzzz it was a great song and I can't wait to go listen to it again ^_^
