Kelly Clarkson is one of my favorite artists. If nothing else, it is because of the songs she sings. Breakaway is one of my favorites. Even though she didn't personally write it, she understood every detail in the lyrics. Kelly had probably felt all these emotions before: saddness, because she has to leave friends and family behind in order to follow her dreams.. Happiness because her dream is finally coming true.. and confidence because she has herself, people who love her, a home, ect to back her up and keep her from forgetting her past and the place where she became who she is.. KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK KELLY!!!!

i think kelly is a great singer and i love this song breakaway i listen to it everytime.. if i hear her song on the radio or something i always know its her and sing along with it even if i dont know the words properly.

It's such a great song for real. But i guess people have misunderstood it. It was written by and for Avril Lavigne and was intended to be a single for Kelly's second album. SO... it is NOT like "WOW what a songwriter she is" though it's a GREAT song!

kelly is the best singer i've ever known. she doesn't need to show her skin for fame. instead, she sings for inspiring and touching lives. i said so becuse she inspired me in my dream as a composer. she's nice. i can tell that she is a humble person. i want to know more about her. i hope i'll see her personally....lol... i enjoyed her songs alot. unfortunately, i don't have any cds from her. hop i can have it with her autograph....lol...
