Bobby Valentino: Singer, Songwriter and Violinist.

If you are looking for a short R'nB singer from Atlanta he is now called Bobby V-Tino. Bobby Valentino is a Trademarked name.

Bobby Valentino began his career in the music business in 1975 (years before Bobby V-Tino was born) playing in a band called the Fabulous Poodles, with them he released 3 albums and toured extensively in Europe and the USA.

When the band split up in 1980 he became a session musician and has worked with the likes of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Mark Knopfler, Big Country, Billy Bragg, Style Council, to mention but a few. His violin has been heard on many hit singles throughout the world, appearing on Top of the Pops 17 times with 7 different acts.

The biggest of these hits in Europe was a song called “Young at Heart” by a Scottish group called the Bluebells. Bobby is now credited as a co-writer of this hit but had to go to the High Court in London to assert his right to receive royalties.

There are 3 Bobby Valentino solo albums available: “You’re in the Groove, Jackson” (1991); You’re Telling Me” (1996) and “This is Murder” (2000). With his band, Los Pistoleros he has released 2 albums: “Trigger Happy” (2001) and “Cult 45” (2004) featuring his timeless crooning voice and many of his songs. One of these songs – “Swingin’ with the Chickens” was No.1 in a European airplay chart for 6 weeks.

Bobby is 6ft 3½in tall.

And i highly doubt that the chick that says she is 21 actually is because if u did then u wuld kno this is a FAN website..Im 15 and i kno it. This bio is straight bogus! The biography and the Bobby Valentino in the picture are two completely different people. According to the listed bio, Bobby V would be at least 31 or 32 years old. Don't think so, folks! And, Bobby V in the pic is approximately 5'3" to 5'5" tall, not 6'3". I just saw him perform up close and personal at the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, Indiana. When he hopped down from the stage, he came to about my chin, and I'm 5'7".
