Bob Lyrics

Review The Song (14)Print the Lyrics
I, man, am regal a German am I
Never odd or even
If I had a hi-fi
Madam, I'm Adam
Too hot to hoot
No lemons, no melon
Too bad I hid a boot
Lisa Bonet ate no basil
Warsaw was raw
Was it a car or a cat I saw?

Rise to vote, sir
Do geese see God?
"Do nine men interpret?" "Nine men," I nod
Rats live on no evil star
Won't lovers revolt now?
Race fast, safe car
Pa's a sap
Ma is as selfless as I am
May a moody baby doom a yam?

Ah Satan sees Natasha
No devil lived on
Lonely Tylenol
Not a banana baton
No "x" in "Nixon"
O, stone, be not so
O Geronimo, no minor ego
"Naomi", I moan
"A Toyota's a Toyota"
A dog, a panic in a pagoda

Oh, no! Don Ho!
Nurse, I spy gypsies -- run!
Senile felines
Now I see bees I won
UFO tofu
We panic in a pew
Oozy rat in a sanitary zoo
God! A red nugget! A fat egg under a dog!
Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog

Review about Bob

hules | Reviewer: bob | 3/12/2008

Hules (above), the recently suspended Viceroy of Dumb Enterprises, is a teenage yout(h). He is "special". Recently he was diagnosed with birdflu, DBC, and terrets. He is also an abused child from various childhood experiences, one which gave him the power of three. At the birth of his third nipple the ultimate question was asked, "If Hules cloned himself as a female (no Hules isn't a woman) would the female clone also have the three nipples? And would there be three boobs or two nipples on one boob or something else?" If you have an answer to the question please post it on either the forums or in the guestbook. Hules also has dreams involving transvestites, bigfoot, himself, and some other stuff that is so disturbing that it shouldn't ever be mentioned again until after the apocalypse. He is a big fan of the Beatles and other classic rock artists. Even though he is a big fan of the Beatles he thought that James Taylor was the Beatles. As you can tell Hules is a complete retard. Hules also is a flaming square tool made of fairy fruit kept in a shed. Every day after lunch Hules rapes his favorite picture and is always friendly to it. The Kinks also wrote a song about Hules entitled "Lola". The song is about a transexual man that calls himself Lola. Hules loves to frolic in the autumn mist. This is actually missunderstood by Hules. He thinks that autumn is the time after St. Johns finishes gym class, and that the mist is the steam from the showers. So Hules actually frolics in the St. Johns showers, while they shower. Hules also was born during the age of aquarius. Hules is a Hashish smoking homicidle pacifist, and a gypsy.

Utter Brilliance. | Reviewer: Spud | 1/14/2008

While yes you can find palindromes on many websites across the web, putting them into a coherent song is no small accomplishment. The song (at least I think) is meant to parody Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues, though the tune is not the same the utter nonsense of the songs points in this direction as well as the videos on Youtube seem intentionally similar. 4/5

rock on al | Reviewer: yOUR mOM | 12/11/2007

great jopb very good idea to have a song composed entirely of palindromes i wonder if you play the song backwards......

stolen one, none, lots <---oh look another palindrome) | Reviewer: Alexio | 11/9/2007

Of course there are websites with lists of palindromes on them. he just had to put them in rhyming order and pace it right. Still, it was a great song anyway.

Bob, too hot to hoot. | Reviewer: Max Goof | 11/9/2007

The first time I heard this son, I recognized some of the palimdromes. Then I realized that every single line was a palimdrome, and wondered what make Weird Al decide to do it.

My guess is he was looking at some palindromes and thought, "Wow, these make about as much sense as a Bob Dylan song. Hey..."

i think this song is so clever,
every sentence can be read backwards and farwards.

Bob revealed | Reviewer: Chuck McClenny | 7/26/2007

I'd heard Bob and seen the vido many times before I say Weird Al in concert in Garland, TX this month, and he revealed that it was a song of palindromes. I'm guessing that this work took quite a bit of time to put together. I thought it was just mocking Dillon's weirdness, but now I know its much more--its musical genious.

Wanna B Ur Lovr | Reviewer: evan | 7/18/2007

::his parody of some love song I don't know delivered in a red suit a'la lounge lizard sleazing through the audience was hilarious.::

I believe that was "Wanna B Ur Lovr" which isn't actually a direct parody of anything.

Just saw Weird Al in Houston June 2007 | Reviewer: Steve S in Houston | 6/11/2007

I can't say I was a fan, and I don't go to very many concerts of any kind (too loud! (too old?) but my son wanted to see Weird Al in concert so we did; and it was ... awesome. The guy can sing; anything; rock, hip hop, rap, folk, etc. The guy can perform; his parody of some love song I don't know delivered in a red suit a'la lounge lizard sleazing through the audience was hilarious. And; the palindrome song. Dead-on Dylan, it was funny and brilliant. His band... his guitarist, keyboard, base player, all absolutely first-rate, the show was, on 1 level, 1001 snippets of my favorite rock tunes or not-so-favorite but delivered with humor and artistry. I've seen the Stones, ZZ top, Doobie Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, Lyle Lovett, and ... Weird Al was the one I'd see again if I could. The guy is an amazing talent. Tremendous fun!!!
