Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain Lyrics
Artist(Band):Hank Williams
Written by Fred Rose, 1945
In the twilight glow I see her
Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.
As we kissed good-bye and parted,
I knew we'd never meet again.
Love is like a dying ember.
Where only memories remain.
Through the ages I'll remember-
Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.
Now my hair has turned to silver.
All my life I've loved in vain.
I can see her star in heaven.
Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.
Someday when we meet up yonder,
We'll stroll hand in hand again.
In a land that knows no parting-
Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.

Review about Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain
A good, simple country song. | Reviewer: Bill Ellington | 10/11/2004A beautiful song! One of my favorites. Very simple and very moving.
The song was not written by Willie Nelson although he performs it very
well. The song was written in 1945 by Fred Rose and if I am not mistaken
was first recorded by the Carter Family.
