The name Blood Has Been Shed is drawn from the idea of
"what we have done to each other in a literal and and
metaphoric sense, and that we should attempt to do
something about it." The band is formed of a variety of
ideologies and very distinct individual personalities, but
this is a theme that all involved could agree upon as being
important enough to be one of the primary focus' of the
band.

Blood Has Been Shed, formed in late 1997 by Corey (guitar),
John (drums), Chris (bass), Todd (guitar), and Jones
(Vocals) quickly became one of CT's favorite exports. The
first CD was recorded after only a little over a month
together. The band has undergone several lineup changes but
the core of it's members (Corey, John, and Jones) are in it
for the long haul.
