The first ideas of creating a band like Blodsrit was
formed in the mid 90´s due to the fact that I felt all the
bands I was involved in at that point of time was too
musically advanced and/or too technical in my taste. I have
always felt drawn to the more raw, simple and harsch style
that amongst others Darkthrone, Marduk and Carpathian
Forest delivers, so the birth of Blodsrit was in fact just
waiting to happen.

So, in 1998 I found myself almost totally isolated
from the rest of the world in a strange way due to several
reasons and that was the perfect moment that gave birth to
the band that sooner would evolve into Blodsrit. I met
Kettil, a person that had the same ideas and ideals for a
