This is my favourite song song from all of Opeth's albums...The song has a ferocious mood to it... But at the same time the human emotions come to life..... The switch to clean vocals was amazing and the mood of the song is brilliant. Poetically, its amazingly written... I especially love the ending of the song.. Ruthless!

This is surely music at its very best! And no one does it better than Opeth!

Definitely one of my favourite Opeth songs , and favourite songs in general. Especially the clean vocals at "Devious Movements in your Eyes" that whole stanza is just perfect singing to me. It's also my favourite song to play on guitar, that main heavy riff is just so epic. Didn't get to see Opeth in December cause i was 17 , but next time i'll be at the front , i'll be sure of it =P

had this song on a tape i made from a metal show here is australia called "the three hours of power" now called "the racket" on triple j had it in my car for a few years never knew who it was then came across it on a random cd buy at the local record shop and never have looked back one of the greatest metal songs of all time. takes me back to the days of getting wasted and listening to metal love this song

I think it is one of the greatest opeth song and one of the best songs in BWP in particular, It's not my favorite album but this song spesifically really got me into opeth I love the way Mikael changes from shouting to singing clean he is so good I can't wait to see them perform here :)

My friend had gotten me into Opeth. We used to listen to it while we blazed. One day i bought BWP and i sat down and for one reason or another i turned on this song first and ever since then i have fallen in love with this song. I listen to it every day. Since then i also have purchased all of opeths albums...all i can say is that this is my favorite band ever.

If you have never listened to Opeth this is the song that sums up what they do best,Brutal, Melodic,Emotive,Heavy,Acoustic,you name it.There is so much going on in this song it is a breathtaking listen from a truely unique band. Amazing!!!!

This song is just epic, I agree with the post above if you enjoyed Damnation, or Still Life you will no doubt enjoy this track. The vocals in this track are amazing.

My favorite song on Blackwater Park | Reviewer: Japples | 2/14/05

This is by far my favorite song on the BWP album. It follows in suit to their latest release of Deliverance which the album cover is my favorite opeth track to date. If you haven't listened to either, I highly recommend it even if you are not into metal. Also, for those who enjoy melody Damnation would be an excellent choice to take interest in by this talented band.
