This song is truly amazing, I don't see any reason why anyone would bash on it. Also if you are wanting to begin singing, like I am at a young age this band is totally for you. I'm not saying this is a beginners band but i'm saying there songs are easy to sing because they sing fluently, and because there songs are slow enough where you can hear the lyrics. Mostly if you love fluent, beautiful, and sometimes sad song, Bayside is for you.

It's amazing to me to reread these lyrics. My freshman year of high school I listened to this song I love the song instantly just for the sound, I liked the lyrics but beause of my age I didn't really understand them. I guess my younger self knew that this song was something I would need in the future. Ive been out of high school for a year now and I haven't listened to this song in a long time but today I finally understood. I've got the experience and the knowledge.. And it makes this song that much greater. Thank you bayside for speaking to me through music.

Bayside has changed my every outlook on music. Ive been listening to them since I was 14. I'm now 18. Im a musician myself, so I truly appreciate every bit of their skill. The way of words and how they're thrown together. The vocals are actually used as they're intended to be. An instrument. Just like a guitar or drums. Look me up. I'm starting to record now. Facebook it, bruh. :)

Bayside is an awesome band, both musically and lyrically. One of the coolest things about this band is how all their songs can be played just as good acoustically as they are on electric guitars. The drum intro however is significantly genius and yet so simple for this particular song. I like playing and singing this song as much as all the other songs on their album bayside.
I like how the reviewer who bashed bayside is anonymous, hahahaha. If the point of your review was to bash bayside because of personal idiotic ignorance, than you've completely missed the point. Really? To bash a song when then point of it's being written is for positive means? Yeah, you're the problem with society kid, some one who thinks emo is a fad. Secondly, anyone who knows anything about music knows matter-of-factly bayside isn't emo.

Really, you seem to be the ignorant type, Anything and everything can influence your life and in many ways everything does in one way or another. Also, can't really say a band is "bad" because all it's an opinion they may be skilled at what they do but doesn't mean you'll like them, I don't see you releasing albums and making money. I dont think that anyone should bash this band. Or any other band actually. Because, in my opinion, yes, some bands do influence people. Sometimes for the better. So, no one should make fun of others people's tastes in music. Or make fun of the fact that they may indeed be "emo" [if thats what you were implying]. this song is definately one of my favorites. It means so much to me, because i can relate to it.My senior year I fucked up, I was a senior class president, made straight A's, Had a $30,000 scholarship and was also a week away from winning Homecoming Queen, this is pretty much every girls dream. but aaannnyway, i brought a joint to school and got busted, got in trouble with the law and my future went down the drain...this song is pretty much my anthem.

How people have nerve to judge how a song effected someones life; Though I have no doubt something like a silly song, or a movie really effected them the same way. Music tends to touch someone relating to their own life- it's why you shouldn't bash someone for the music they like, it's like bashing them/ their life. I know the said person bashing wouldn't like it if someone took their idol in hand, or something important to them and disregarded it. <33 I personally love this song. Good beat :]

This song, no lie, helped change my outlook on life. When the going gets tough, you can pass the blame on everything but you, but when it comes down to it, you're the common factor. Accepting responsibility is never easy in life. I'm getting "Blame It On Bad Luck" as my next tattoo.
