i first heard this song over two years ago. i had gotten a phone call from my mother saying that my friend had killed himself while i was at work. on the way home i didnt listen to any music. the next night i went to work and ended up leaving for a gathering with friends in his memory. i finnally mustered up the courage to listen to the radio. And this is the song that i heard. the song described the situation so welll. and it ended up helping me through the hard time that comes of losing a good friend

This song really is true.When my (step)dad passed away,we thought it was the end of the world. He helped raise and loved 3 kids that weren't even his. We thank GOD everyday he was there for us. So to everyone out there who is afraid there's no one to be there for your mother and her children...there is. Let her be happy and that'll help YOU be happy, too.

I heard this song when it came out and cried for hours listening to it over and over again! Years ago i was suicidal and came close several times but God had his hand on me and I made it through with the love of family and friends! I keep Blaine's CD in my car constantly because if I need to hear the song it is there not to depress me but to remind me how far I have come in my life! Every time now I go through a rough time and wonder how i can get through it i put the song on or watch the video and think that if i got through what i did years ago I can get through anything!

i like this song but then again i don't, only because someone i was very close with comitted suicide. It was very upsetting and when i hear this song its makes me think about him. But the sng really does make people think and u did a good job using the right words
