Black Diamond Lyrics - Kiss
Review The Song (1)
Out on the street for a living
Picture's only begun
Got you under their thumb
Hit it
Out on the streets for a living
Picture's only begun
Your day is sorrow and madness
Got you under their thumb
Whoo, black diamond
Whoo, black diamond
Darkness will fall on the city
It seems to follow you too
And though you don't ask for pity
There's nothin' that you can do, no, no
Whoo, black diamond
Whoo, black diamond
Out on the streets for a living
Picture's only begun
Your day is sorrow and madness
Got you under their thumb
Whoo, black diamond, yeah
Whoo, black diamond
Picture's only begun
Got you under their thumb
Hit it
Out on the streets for a living
Picture's only begun
Your day is sorrow and madness
Got you under their thumb
Whoo, black diamond
Whoo, black diamond
Darkness will fall on the city
It seems to follow you too
And though you don't ask for pity
There's nothin' that you can do, no, no
Whoo, black diamond
Whoo, black diamond
Out on the streets for a living
Picture's only begun
Your day is sorrow and madness
Got you under their thumb
Whoo, black diamond, yeah
Whoo, black diamond

My opinion anyway | Reviewer: Mike........ | 10/13/2007
To be honest as a studio track, Black diamond would only rate 7/10, but take the live version from Alive I and you get a whole different story, better still if you get to see Kiss perform it live yourself, this song for me is the epitome of the Kiss concert experience. It bulids from a mellow start with Paul Stanley, to an explosive finish that surley must have any budding pyromaniac go crazy. I've seen it performed live with three different drummers, Peter Criss had made it his song we know, but Eric's Carr and Singer both did it real credit. A truly stunning live song, that conjurs up everything great about a Kiss live performance.
