I've been carrying this old luggage
And I'ts been really bugging me
So when you called to see me
I couldn't believe it
Could it really be?
You need to feel forgiveness
I need to feel resentment
Running down the drain
This bruising chain I've carried
Is the pain that I am marrying today
[Chorus]
Now I can breath
And I feel grace brush over me
It pours through my skin
And lets you in
And we are free
Now I can breath
And I feel grace brush over me
It runs through my vains
And what I taste is bitter sweet
The clock is always ticking
Bitterness grows by the minute
Why can't we realize
The wounds that we're inflicting
On our own flesh it isn't healing
By keeping love inside (Yeah)
[Chorus]
Now I can breath
And I feel grace brush over me
It pours through my skin
And lets you in
And we are free
Now I can breath
And I feel grace brush over me
It runs through my vains
And what I taste is bitter sweet
Bitter sweet

Review about Bittersweet Plumb you Rock | Reviewer: Janine | 4/7/2008
I use to listen to Plumb years ago when their first C.D. came out with the song Stranded. It was my favourite C.D. i listened to it so many time i think a copy permanently burnt into my car's C.D. player. lol.
I hadn't heard Plumb for years, and i was listening to 107.3 Life Fm on the way to work over Christmas 2007, and heard the song (i now know as Bittersweet), i listened to it, loving every word and hoping that the name of the band would be announced after the song. It wasn't and i locked my car and rushed into work, curious and anxious to know who the song was by. It had really had an impact on my.
I didn't hear the song again for 3 months, and recently heard the song again when i was in my car. I stopped and wrote down key words so that i could look the song up on the internet when i got home.
My Google search found the song, and to my surprise it was by Plumb, my favourite band from years earlier.
Wow! Plumb you are still on fire, and thankyou for your great music and the impact you have on lives for Jesus and his Eternal Kingdom.
A Fan Forever
Janine xoxo
