Big Time Rush Biography

Big Time Rush (also known as BTR) is an KCA Nominated American television series about friendship and brotherhood that chronicles the finding, making, and breaking of a boy band. The series premiered with an hour-long pilot episode, Big Time Audition, on Nickelodeon, on November 28, 2009. Three hour-long specials have spanned two seasons.

The series stars Kendall Schmidt as Kendall Knight, James Maslow as James Diamond, Carlos Pena Jr. as Carlos Garcia, and Logan Henderson as Logan Mitchell who get a chance to become the newest pop sensation, with a series of navigates through all their antics, conflicts, and schemes living in Los Angeles. The series began airing on YTV on September 6, 2010. The series co-stars Ciara Bravo, Tanya Chisholm, and Stephen Kramer Glickman. The series is taped in Los Angeles, California and was created by Scott Fellows.

James can sing but so far his biggest hits are with the ladies! He dreams big and has the confidence to match. He may be a little clueless at times, but he always looks good doing it. Major plus: great hair!

Carlos gets the laughs! Though he also picks the fights. With his hockey helmet in tow, he is always ready to go -- whether he's cracking jokes or sticking up for his friends. His heart in the right place!

Logan is the brains behind Big Time Rush. Who else is going to handle all that homework? Logan's the go-to guy for solving problems -- and with all the trouble the guys get into, it's good to have him around.

Big Time Rush, which consists of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena, Jr., and Logan Henderson, is a band off the hit Nickelodeon series of the same name. The show is about four hockey playing best friends from Minnesota who get swooped up by a big time record producer and are shipped off to Los Angeles in hopes of becoming the next pop boy band sensation. New episodes air Fridays and/or Saturdays at 8:30PM EST.

Big Time Rush's debut album, B.T.R., was released on October 11, 2010, via Sony/Columbia. Among the tracks are "City Is Ours," which according to Songfacts, they originally wrote for the Nickelodeon show.
