1991-1994 David Bugeja, Chris Brincat and Marcel Scalpello
teamed up to form the first Death Metal band in Malta. The
first years served the band to establish itself in the
local scene and to come up with a steady line-up. It proved
to be a difficult task to find the right musicians in a
scene that was heavily influenced by rock and speed metal.
With members joining and leaving, Beheaded managed to
perform several shows and acquire a distinct place in the
Maltese scene.

When the line-up problem seemed to be overcome, Beheaded
concentrated on releasing a demo tape, with the aim of
exposing itself to the foreign Death Metal scene.

1995-1997 Four songs were completed and the demo was
recorded in March 1995 with Marcel Scalpello (vocals),
David Bugeja and Tyso More...
