Review about Because I Want You had to put a title | Reviewer: syst3mk1ll3r | 10/22/09 i think this song is about drinking as anonymous well-wrote. but theres just the chorus. i think Brian's trying to show a relationship originally built on love and is folding up because of the drinking. but the lyrics in the chorus and first strain show thathe still loves her, and maybe enough to break his addiction. She can't take the driking and coming home half drunk looking for comfort, and she ants to leave. In overall effect, i think Brian is trying to "jump into the shoes" of the man in the relationship. Like he's singing to the girl about how he loves her and doesn't want her to give up on him. Maybe it's a relationship he's has before as well.
