Battery Lyrics - Metallica

I like Metallica AND Megadeth these two bands are some sort of constant in my headphones everyday.
And they're Songbooks from the eigthies-albums are a constant practice in playing my guitar. For over a decade now.
Still i don't get the "sound" in battery, master of puppets, mechanix, rattlehead or numerous other examples, they're insane speed right.
In my head regarding use (and abuse :-) ) of a guitar these guys all are gods, which i really, really adore.
Their personal problems don't touch me.
I hope they keep on doing, what they do best.

For those of you who say that one band (Metallica or Megadeath) is better than the other, that is your opinion. But for those of you who HATE one band but LOVE the other, YOU DON'T MAKE SENSE! BOTH bands rock! You CAN'T just hate ONE! Sure some songs are better than others but REALLY PEOPLE! CALM YOUR BALLS! You're acting like it's a contest between ONE DIRECTION and Metallica...and even IF you really feel that strongly against one, DON'T GO DISSING THEM ON STUFF ABOUT THEM! Megadeth is nothing when they are compared to Metallica. Dave is not as creative as james. this is pretty obvious if you listen the song 'Blackened' or 'Battery'. The intro of 'Blackened' is so fucking genious. Nobody can compose this except james. and battery riff was just fuckin awesome as if aliens had written the riff. and have you heard 'to live is to die'? no megadeth song is more perfect than this song

I don't get the war between Metallica and Megadeth either, both bands are extremely shit and are so overrated for music that all sounds the same and both have crappy lead 'singers', if you can even call that shit singing.

This is one of my favourite metallica songs, its brilliant, but, and i realise that this will probably make a lot of people go off, but i love ensiferum's cover of it more. Just my opinion, but hey.

Metallica own any other metal band in existance, or used to.
bodom are my 2nd fav band but will never rival metallica, bodom are very skilled but doesnt always = the best music.
as some guy/gal said, they peaked in the late 80's, their last 2 albums are complete and utter trash

I've been listening to Metallica since I was 12... back in 1983. I find it funny that even after all these years people are still raging over the Metallica/Megadeth debate. They are both awesome bands though Mustaine may be a dick sometimes, but so is Lars. Dave was a junkie; Metallica were raging drunks. But really, who cares? Their music still rocks, though I have to admit I wasn't a fan of either band during the 90s. Both bands peaked at the end of the 80s. "Master of Puppets" is Metallica's greatest record to date. Nothing compares. "Rust in Peace" and "Peace Sells" are my fave Megadeth records, though they've had some killer singles over the years. Metallica, not so much. They let alcoholism and ego get the best of them since the Black Album (1991). Everything between "Load" and "Death Magnetic" was dreadful...

Which band is better? Metallica or Megadeth? The fans fight each other because they think their fav band is better, but that's for nothing. I like both Metallica and Megadeth. I used to compare whose guitar work's better, but now it doesn't really matter, the point is the meaning of their songs, and the head banging stuff. Every band got their special.

Seriously, shut the F**K UP! Why can't people accept the fact that Metallica f**king own your ass. None of their albums suck, they've just changed their style. Pretty much all 80's bands died out because they didn't change their style, yet Metallica did and look where they are now, still a well-known band that is the most influential Metal band to ever've existed. All their albums have a deep meaning, and James is well-known for his songs, which he writes using lots of Metaphors to make the songs have a very deep meaning. Furthermore, Metallica have stuck together through thick and thin, even if they rammed a boot up Dave's ass, even when James went to rehab, they stuck together, and everyone and so-called 'loyal' fans got the thought glued into their heads that it was almost definately going to be their downfall. Yet it wasn't, they came out, and kept on delivering fantastic albums afterwards. I've listened to Metallica for 10 years, and loved them. You may find with new music it's all revolves around the same topics-Either Sex, Drugs or Alcohol. Metallica however, have always brought some deep and different meanings through their songs. This is all just my opinion, feel free to comment and give your veiws. But can we all agree that Metallica is way better than that dick-bag faggot Justin Beaver who has her balls where her head SHOULD be?

Hey guys, I've been listening to Metallica all my life and I'm not saying that they're not good. Infact they they are the best band ever i just had a thought that if Dave hadn't been kicked out of the band how would they sound. Just a thought :)
