Barlowgirl is an all girl band made up of three sisters: Rebecca, Alyssa and Lauren Barlow. (Can you guess how they came up with the band name?) For two years they traveled around the country and were the back up band for their dad. During one concert Lauren, who was the keyboard player at the time, caught sight of a drumset, fell in love.... and so a drummer was born. Soon after that the girls began experimenting with song writing and out of that came songs never to be played or heard of again :) During that time they decided to start their own band and have been one for the past three and a half years. What happened to their father, you ask? Well don't... kidding. He and his wife (ironically, the Barlowgirl's mother) are now the girl's managers. Yes, it is a family affair.

Our Vision

Barlowgirl has a passion to write songs about the journey that God has taken them on in their lives. Our main topics include trusting God, purity, and our stand on not dating.

Trust- "We believe that God is calling everyone to live a life that is fully surrendered to Him so that He can do His work in us and begin to show us His true purpose for our lives. We're definitely not saying 'we've mastered this concept and now it's your turn', but instead that this is a daily process and a journey that all of us will be on forever."

Purity- "In a world that constantly bombards us with impurity and immodesty, we feel called to take a stand against what the world is telling us is acceptable. Especially in the area of clothing and modesty."

Not dating- "We believe that God has one perfect man already chosen for us; therefore we have no need to worry ourselves in searching for him. When the time is right we know God will bring us together. In the meantime we are not hiding in a closet avoiding all males. We are still living our lives, just without the pressure of having to have a boyfriend."

You guys are awesome. I think that is the first time I've really saw girls play guitar and drums. Whats so cool about all of you is that your the real thing , like real Christians. To me that is the greatest thing in the world. I have a guitar and I hope to be as good as you someday...maybe I'll start my own band in the future. Being a girl you would think that I would maybe like mostly girl bands..honestly your the only all girl I like. You guys are so awesome. Thanks! :)

Wow, girls I don't know what else to say. I have heard of you girls so much, to the point that I even asked God for the opportunity to meet you guys. I was glad that you girls got the opportunity to come to Dodge city Civic Center. My life change, I mean you girls really bring in the pressence of God with you. I really love the fact that you girls surrendered everything to God. Ever since I was a child I was being taught about purity, and when you girls bring that on stage, I said Yes !! that's exactly what our generation need to hear. You girls are awesome and I love your songs, and woa I never see any woman that can drum in the way one of you girls did.I love Barlow girls for life. Never give up girls for God will surely reward you all in due time.

They are the best female group ever. Their songs about life, purity, and being yourself are totally awesome. They are talented and very pretty. Right now I am listening to Psalm 73 (My God's Enough) and I listen to them all the time. That is how much I love the music. Well to make a long story short..........I LOVE BARLOW GIRL!!!

amen....wow.....what more can i say about the experience that my husband and our 2 oldest daughters had at the concert in Albany New York.Our daughters that went are 9 and 8 and they just loved THE BARLOW GIRLS. I must say that we have always taught them that God has their husband waiting for them and there is no need to even bother looking.....his plan is set already and has been from the time he [GOD] knew them. I thank the BARLOW SISTERS for giving my girls the affirmation that what we have told them is true. What an awesome group of sisters......may they continue to be witnesses to purity and their commitment to GOD. you guys rock from a mom of 4...gabriella age 9, emily age 8, lauren age 6 and jonathan age 5. thanks so much...

I Love all of their songs. Since i found out about them 3 years ago i fell in love with all the song. Each song had a tremendous message that touched my heart. The BarlowGirls are my inspiration, i hope to meet them one day.

Wow...that's pretty much the only word I can use to describe Barlow Girls. Each and every one of their songs touches me in one way or another. They're GREAT. I'm actually listening to them right now. My friend recently burned me their CD, because I was really struggling in my faith, and I had NO idea who these three girls were, but now after listening to the CD just a few times, my faith is stronger...and I'm spreading the news about this wonderful band!
