I like the attack that this makes on critics.
"Don't tell not to reference my songs within my songs."
It also seems to be directed at all fellow song writer. Amanda Palmer always seems to put drive and energy, and meaning within her songs. Something that a lot of song writers these days do seem to lack. Because of this, I just can't help but adore the dresden dolls, their quirky sound and striaght to the point, honest lyricism. This song really hits the spot, and really grabs attention. It can't go wrong with its catchy optimistic melody either.
Hats off to the dresden dolls.
