Review The Song (3)Print the Lyrics
Friday night I'm going nowhere
All the lights are changing green to red
Turning over TV stations
Situations running through my head
Looking back through time
You know it's clear that I've been blind
I've been a fool
To open up my heart
To all that jealousy, that bitterness, that ridicule

Saturday I'm running wild
And all the lights are changing red to green
Moving through the crowds I'm pushing
Chemicals all rushing in my bloodstream
Only wish that you were here
You know I'm seeing it so clear
I've been afraid
To show you how I really feel
Admit to some of those bad mistakes I've made

If you want it
Come and get it
Crying out loud
The love that I was
Giving you was
Never in doubt
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now

Babylon, Babylon, Babylon

Sunday all the lights of London
Shining , Sky is fading red to blue
I'm kicking through the Autumn leaves
And wondering where it is you might be going to
Turning back for home
You know I'm feeling so alone
I can't believe
Climbing on the stair
I turn around to see you smiling there
In front of me

If you want it
Come and get it
Crying out loud
The love that I was
Giving you was
Never in doubt
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Let go of your heart
Let go of your head
And feel it now

Babylon, Babylon, Babylon, Babylon, Babylon

Review about Babylon

Love this! | Reviewer: anonymous | 8/23/09

This has always been a song i've loved to listen to. I can't say why, but something about it just sounds incredible. The music, the lyrics, everything is great. I'm not 100% sure what it's about but I have an idea, and you all are welcome to correct me if i'm wrong. I think it's about perhaps his personal regrets in not pursuing something he wanted, what I mean is maybe he's looking back and realizing he should've taken a chance on someone/something, but didnt. Such lyrics as "Looking back in time, you know it's clear that i've been blind i've been a fool," and "I only wish the you were here, you know i'm seeing it so clear, i've been afraid" gave me that idea. And then I think he tries to tell his listeners/audience to learn from his mistakes, that if you want something to just go for it and never look back. To obtain it at all costs. I think that's what he's saying when he sings the chorus: "Let go of your heart, let go of your head, and feel it now." Like he's saying forget all of that and just go, know what I mean? I could be wrong, but tha's what i've gotten from it.

Amazing | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/14/07

In my 40 something years of listening to music, I think this is one of the most wonderful songs I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. The melody, the cleverness of the lyrics, and easy flow of the song, make it simply amazing!
