He was taking me out for a meal to celebrate our anniversary, which also happened to be his birthday. We were in the car, and this song was playing on the CD, when all of a sudden a drunk driver was coming straight towards us down the road. There was not enough time for him to swerve out of the way and the car hit us head on. I escaped with only minor injuries - a broken arm, neck and a few scratches, but Joe was paralysed and his face was very badly cut. He was taken to hospital, where he died 4 days later due to major blood loss. I sat in the ward crying for about a day. I still haven't moved on from him, a year later. I think about him and listen to this song everyday. I just hope that his death wasn't too painful, and one day we can be reunited. Joe <3...
