Joe, Paul and Amy of AVOID ONE THING were all kids from
Boston (Amy is from New Hampshire first) who grew up in the
punk rock scene, playing in bands like Gangreen, The Mighty
Mighty BossTones, Mung, Darkbuster and The Raging Teens. In
late 2001 they recorded songs Joe had kicking around his
house and in 2002 they decided it was fun and they were a
band.

They tried out 16 drummers before Joe finally called his
friend Dave Karcich who was living in New York. Dave loved
