And while we're on the subject, the album "Barenaked" is one of the music industry's best kept secrets. Why? Why wasn't this album properly promoted? (Only the Stones' "A Bigger Bang" ranks higher in my list, since 2000.) Back to "Avenue of the Stars", everything about this song is quite gratifying. Lyrics, musical arrangement, upbeat & fun, oh yeah and Jennifer, like the rest of this CD, delivers a most charming vocal performance. (Mariah who?) She was actually a singer before she became an actress. "Avenue..." should have been released as a single. There's no reason why this couldn't have been a huge #1. Is this review helpful to you?
