This is one of my many favorite bands and it saddens me deeply that Jimmy will never drum again...well alive anyway. I love Avenged and I hope they do carry on through Jimmy's passing. He's in the Afterlife now and nothing can stop him.

wow!!! A7X really out did themselves!!!!! this album has alot of kick ass albums!! I've Said that all of A7X's albums were awsome but this one beats all of them by a mile!!!! I love afterlife!! that song is just amazing!!!! i also lick scream, critical acclaim, almost easy, lost, a little piece of heaven, and dear god!!! there all awsome!! keep making awsome songs A7X!!!! please!!!!

I love this album!!!
My friend burned it for me b4 I went to see them at Taste of Chaos and then I went and bought the c.d. after the concert.
It's all I listened to for weeks and weeks.
I love it!
I love how some of the songs are mellow i.e. Gunslinger and Dear God... but then you have songs like Scream and A Little Piece of Heaven.
It's just great.
Definitly one of my favorite albums of '08.
Makes my top 5 must listen to list at like #1

yeah this album is good but its no where near how their old music will be it has never been the same since matt busted the blood vessel maybe a new person who can growl? keep matt singing he does have an amazing voice they could never lose him

This album is much lighter with most of the songs. It has a sort of "angelic" like to it. With songs like Dear God, Afterlife, and Gunslinger. Then out of nowhere they come with the darkness of A little Piece of Heaven. It's their best album yet.

this is the BEST FUCKIN BAND IN THE WHOLE WORLD dont even question it! im totally adicted to them, i dont listen any other bands, just AVENGED SEVENFOLD! a7x for life! this album is even better than City of Evil they should record more cds like this. im the biggest fan of avenged sevenfold they roxx!
