In 1987 in D.C... Joe Banks, Brian Stewart, Doug Crosby,
and Mikey Warstler started a band called AVAIL. In 1988
they recorded a tape called "Each Other." Also in 1988,
Doug and Mikey leave to be replaced by Tim Barry and D.J.
Grimes. In 1990, they recorded a tape called "Reaching
Out". Then in 1991 they release a 7" "Who's to Say?" on Sun
Spot Records. In 1992 Beau Beau joins after leaving the
Navy, and Erik LArson and Chuck McCauly joi the band.
Also Tim now takes over the job of vocals. Now in 1992...
Tim Barry on vocals, Joe Banks on guitar, Chuck McCauly on
bass, Erik Larson on drums, and Beau Beau their cheerleader
move to Richmond,VA and assume the offical line up of
AVAIL. Later that year in 1992 they release 2 7"s on
Catheter Records: "Satiate" and "Att More...
