Since the release of "1977", ASH gained a new member, Charlotte Hatherley, or Chaz, as she's called, on guitars. The group's new album, their first as a quartet, was "Nu-Clear Sounds", released in 1999. Singles from this album include the rocking "Jesus Says" as well as "A Life Less Ordinary", the theme song to the movie of the same name, starring Ewan McGregor and Cameron Diaz. A turbulent time followed the release of Nu-Clear Sounds, involving an almost bankruptcy and band troubles. After a brief hiatus, the band returned to their roots (ie Tim's parent's garage, where it all began), to work on new material. From this emerged "Free All Angels", an album packed with amazing feel-good rock songs. The first single, "Shining Light", rocketed the band to a 2001 summe More... The song is NOT about the game. It was not written exclusively for the game. It has nothing to DO with the game. The only reason it was included is because the Ash album (Meltdown) came out shortly before they'd finished the musical score for the game. Don't get me wrong; I loved the game.
