Reviews about As Cities Burn songs

------ About the song The Hoard performed by As Cities Burn

I absolutely love this band. Fuck it if they're Christian, that just means that their songs won't be about sex and drugs. I heard the split up, is this true? A shame if so; they truely are very good.

The Widow | Reviewer: Eugene
------ About the song The Widow performed by As Cities Burn

His dad is dead due to a drug addiction. He walked out on them all. The drug is possibly Heroin. Yet he still loves his father.

Its difficult putting the meaning down in such short review due to the deep emotion and hurt involved in this childs life.

Seems this is a prayer to God telling Him basically "and this is the world you love?"

------ About the song Contact performed by As Cities Burn

these lyrics totally blow my mind. its like... what all us christians think when we doubt, when our prayers arent answered -but nobody says it. as cities burn is probably the most relevant christian band ive heard. all the other bands pretend to be perfect too much. it's impossible to stay on those spiritual highs --"mountain top experiences"-- forever. sometimes everyone doubts, our prayers arent answered the way we want. our faith falters.

R.I.P Timothy | Reviewer: Shane
------ About the song Timothy performed by As Cities Burn

R.I.P Tim Jordan. You are missed by your family, friens, and fans alike. This song is so sad, but yet beautiful in so many ways. Everytime that I hear it I think of Tim, but I also think of my passed friend. Beautiful song..As Cities Burn just proves to be more emotional on this new record.
