IN AN industry well-versed in putting bands into boxes,
then nailing down the lid, Apocalyptica have always kept
their wings well spread; not just as an international
market-leader (though that cap most certainly fits), but as
a group who have effect-tively created a market of their
own - a tight-knit troupe who continue to prove that rock
music isn't to do with the instrument you play, but the
attitude you keep. Or maybe the one you're born with...
Since 1996 and the release of their debut album ('Plays
Metallica By Four Cellos'), Apocalyptica - graduates of the
prestigious Sibelius Academy in Finland - have been
developing a style that is tough to put a name to... 'Heavy
Cello Mayhem'? More...

------ About the song Bittersweet performed by Apocalyptica
What a beautiful, passionate song. You can feel and hear the desperation in their voice when they're singing. I like the mix of both a low voice and higher voice. Gorgeous. I am never disappointed with Apocalyptica's songs.

------ About the song S.O.S. (Anything But Love) performed by Apocalyptica
The song is well sung by the beautiful Christina Scabbia with passion and energy that only means that she has been subjected or seen seen someone suffer this under her watch. Unfortunately this transcends the molds of standard relationship stress and misunderstandings. She asking if her hell on earth is worth it. Imagine being alone, defensless, vulnerable to deprediations of a lover that has no soul or no conscience. Imagine being a plaything, a toy that can be discarded at a whim or placed on a shelf to just look pretty? The rhetorical question in the this theme is when is enough is enough. When does scars, broken bones, and more important the exsential residue constitute enough to leave an abusive relationship. She singing about a relationship that so bed that it can be equated to mind or emotional rape. This is situation that often lead to post-traumatic stress disorder, and life of overcoming the fear and resentment of this brutal captivitity.

------ About the song I Don't Care performed by Apocalyptica
yes, there are two versions of this song...but the lyrics for the version you were trying to capture are wrong, so dont start snapping at ppl, most of us know what we're talking about, i submitted the right lyrics....because a song this good shouldnt be ruined by such a fool....
I think that one of the best things from apocalyptica is that like they don't have a singer they use different ones from other bands, and one of the things that makes a fan to get bored of a band is that u get tired of listenin the same voice but like in apocalyptica in nearly each song there's a different singer u never get bored of em, theyv played with cristina scabbia(lacuna coil), ville valo(him), Lauri Ylönen(The Rasmus), Adam Gontier(Three Days Grace), Corey Taylor(Slipknot)... and their all different voices so... they had a great idea for not havin one singer.
PS: the names in brakets are the ones from the bands that those singers are in

------ About the song Bittersweet performed by Apocalyptica
between the dark, entrancing burn of Lauri's voice and the remorseful melodies of Ville, i found myself lost in this haunting love masterpiece; Apocalyptica expertly playing not only their cellos but my heartstrings as well. i heard this song for the first time today, and needless to say, i just can't get enough! i can still hear it in my head, the beautiful sound drifting through my mind...

------ About the song Bittersweet performed by Apocalyptica
This song is pure music, the vocals and the amazing strings to pull along the melody. Both singers bring out the best in one another and together have made this song as amazing as it is. I'm personally still very new to Apocalyptica's works but, this song has given me chills and left me breathless by it's beauty.

------ About the song I Don't Care performed by Apocalyptica
Great song, but the lyrics listed here are wrong. I tried to change them, but it wouldn't let me, something about "you submitted two lyrics to this song" and then it showed me the correct ones.
But this page is still wrong. Go listen to the song and you'll see what I mean.

------ About the song I Don't Care performed by Apocalyptica
I love this song! I think it's really awesome. I dont find it goth or emo at all. People actually consider me preppy but yet I love rock music. I'm willing to go buy their cd just because i love this song:)
Finns do it better. | Reviewer: Yana
------ About the song Bittersweet performed by Apocalyptica
With Lauri's husky, harsh, sweet voice, Ville's thundering, entwining voice and Apocalyptica's enslaving melodies in one you can consider yourself cursed to listen to this song ever after. I don't care who said it, but hell, that's right "Finns are born for Gothic." I don't want to imagine what would happen if they all work together with Tarja in a heavy song...

I love this song! It's so great, really. People say it's sort of 'goth' or 'emo' but honestly, I love it. I just happened to turn on MTV when it was on a countdown, and ever since then it's my favorite song. It's the most played on my iPod out of my 800 songs and I've only had it for about 2 weeks. :)
