    Johnny Paycheck wrote this song about 3 years after Patsy Cline's death. Tammy Wynette had her first Billboard single with this song in 1966. It won Academy of Country Music's Song of the Year that year.

    I know that Tammy Wynette sang Apartment #9 but I was not aware that patsy Cline sang it as well. I was wondering if this info is perhaps a misprint and meant to list Tammy Wynette?
    Also the last verse goes I'll be waiting in this lonely room just in case you every change your mind. Thanks for putting this out there it helps!!
