Canadian rockers Anti-Hero mask themselves as an alternative band that is more of a punk throwback. The raw intensity and harsh background vocals make them different in a sense. Female vocals are common in the music scene but not many bands add harsh background vocals with female fronting like Anti-Hero. The foursome is a traditional rock band in the mold of Hole, and Rose Perry’s vocals should bring music fans attention to the band. Listening to the CD, there is really nothing overwhelming, but that does not mean Anti-Hero is a bad band. They have all the right elements just missing that one niche to reap success. I feel the guitar should be brought up a bit instead of having a downbeat on almost every track. I got a little bored hearing the basic riffs and sou More...
