Annihilation Lyrics - A Perfect Circle

Review The Song (20)

From dehumanization to arms production,
For the benefit of the nation or its destruction
Power is power, the law of the land,
Those living for death will die by their own hand,

Life's no ordeal if you come to terms,
Reject the system dictating the norms

From dehumanization to arms production,
To hasten the nation towards its destruction
Power is power, the law of the land,
Those living for death will die by their own hand,

Life's no ordeal if you come to terms,
Reject the system dictating the norms

From dehumanization to arms production,
To hasten the nation towards its destruction
Power is power, the law of the land,
Those living for death will die by their own hand,

Life's no ordeal if you come to terms,
Reject the system dictating the norms

From dehumanization to arms production,
To hasten this nation towards its destruction,

It's your choice, your choice, your choice, your choice,
Peace or annihilation

good meaning.. | Reviewer: ladyvaler | 2/12/12

this song has alot of truth in it... "those living for death will die by thier own hands". this nation is falling apart. power has truly become"the law of the land". and many people accept the system when rejecting it would be inthe long run be better.

Peace over annihilation!

I love all of APC's covers. Personally, I think they far out-do all of the originals, but that's just my opinion. This song has great lyrics which are made all the more potent through whispering. I get this song stuck in my head a lot.

the Diffrence | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/18/10

I'm sorry rubbercowtounge, I don't mean to add insult to injury but this one is better than the Crucifix version, the devilry of the lyrics makes the meaning more potent, nor is it lost by the lable of "punk".I never really try to infer messages from bands like the original artist (or really any in the punk genre) I already know what the deeper meaning is.with these guys you never really know

Amazing. | Reviewer: Billeh. | 2/8/10

I know it's sad, but I listen to this every time I play CODMW2. Seems to have a likeness? Anyways. People who are hating over tha fact that it's a cover..have you heard the original. It is SHOCKING. It's by Crucifix. It really is appalling. I love the whispering in this song, it gives and eerie yet meaningful feel to it.

dude... | Reviewer: Lpf21 | 3/12/08

This song is awesome, one of my friends introduced it to me and i like it a lot. I think its really unique the way its sang, and how not many things were put together to make a cool sound. The lyrics are also sweet, they really make you think about things in the world. Annihilation rocks! =]

The best, the deepest of all songs i've ever heard. Quite different but looks a bit similar to Sting's "Russians". It's very important to raise such problems for the society in the world. I really appreciate the APC for such a great acapella song...

this makes you think | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/16/07

I love this song. It being whispered makes it even better. Who cares if it was a cover. They pulled it off very nicely. It makes you think about now and the future. I think that's why I like it so much.

A whirlwind is upon us indeed~ | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/23/07

Yes, this song is a good foreshadow of what is to come. Most of it is already here and now we are just waiting for the final play from you know who. Learn more you say? Google REX 84, FEMA Camps, look at the executive orders that give our so called president the power to detain anyone, sieze all modes of transportaion, business, and property. Its here and its about to get ugly real fast. Good Luck!

Hiya this song kicks ass!!! | Reviewer: Tool lover | 6/22/07

these Lyrics are from the '80s | Reviewer: rubbercowtongue | 5/21/07

this is from a song writ during the '80's - a hard punk song beginning with this defiant voice saying this EXACTLY. and it wasn't whispered, neither, by gum!

lyrics are by someone ELSE | Reviewer: rubbercowtongue | 5/21/07

these are lyrics from a punk band in the '80's - I remember them well, and they weren't whispered, by gum! I think it was Crucifix.

Interesting | Reviewer: honestom12 | 5/18/07

This song is trying to sum up society today and i feel it does this very well. Only the future it is applying i feel is wrong. People show great evil, but in the end mankind unite to help each other help we are in danger. This song is worth listening to though, explaining a theory of the end of the world. In a word, interesting.
