Hello everybody, this is a first for me, but I couldn't wait any longer. I have a new band called "Angels and Airwaves" and it is the most amazing music I have ever made by a long shot. You all must know, I didn't want Blink to go on hiatus, but it had to....you all will learn why...soon, but I swear to god, I am two songs from finishing the best fucking album anybody has heard in 20 years. In the next couple of weeks, you will all hear about the new band as well as the movie that is being made to tell the story of the album. But no matter what is said, or talked about, no matter what rumors are started, this is the best music made in decades....It is so much more powerful, emotional and melodic than Box Car and Blink put together, that I am currently shittin More... This is the most inspiring of the songs from the first two albums of AvA.... The Adventure is a song so so good but captures a differnt mood... HEAVEN... Blink, Boxcar, and now Angels and Airwaves, my life is better because of him.. As for the meaning, the entire album "We Don't Need To Whisper" is about a couple living in an environment torn apart by war. The songs speak of their struggles, hardships and in the end how their love endures through it all. The lines "I'm on my knee, just one to start / A fresh new start, Don't be undecided" would seem to be about proposing to someone you love. I don't know how many people assume this is written to Mark and Travis. It would not make a lot of sense for it to say Dream, you want it. I was sad about Blink-182 breaking up, but glad this came out of it. Now that Blink-182 is back AND AVA is still going to be around, it's the perfect situation. I know there a lot of deeper meanings to them, and yet I still relate to them all in a different way. Regaurdless of what happened with Blink (another amazing band) and what came out of that situation (AVA & +44), no one can be disappointed with the quality of music. Love it. Great song | Reviewer: Joe D'Agostino ------ About the song Distraction performed by Angels And Airwaves Just so it's clear to everyone, this song isn't about 9/11 or for a soldier necessarily, although it could be taken that way if the listener wants it to be that. Tom did a video interview about this song, I came across it on Youtube, and he explained that he wrote this song to his daughter. The song has true meaning to it, what it is I havent exactly figured it out yet. It is very inspirational though, and one of the best songs to date. AVA truly have created a new unique style of music. With all that happened with the break-up and the two bands that followed...I say they're both great. I think what Tom Delonge did was a poor move not only as a co-worker, but as a friend. I stook 15 feet away from Tom and felt goosebumps last summer. What's done is done, but we still have great songs like this, and +44 is equally amazing. I personally choose +44, but AVA is still awesome. Take off your pants and jacket.
