The Swedish death metal band Anata was formed in the city
of Varberg on the west coast in 1993. It did however take
until June 1995 for them to record their first demo "Bury
Forever The Garden Of Lie". In 1996 a couple of line-up
changes took place and in 1997 they recorded a second demo
entitled "Vast Lands Of My Infernal Dominion". This demo
led to a record deal with the French label Season Of Mist
and in 1998 they were in the studio to record their debut
album "The Infernal Depths Of Hatred" which included four
