An Old Christmas Card Lyrics - Jim Reeves
Review The Song (1)
There's an Old Christmas Card in an old dusty trunk
And it brings back sweet memories dear to me
'Though it's faded and worn, it's as precious as the morn
When I found it 'neath our first Christmas tree
I thrill with every word, every line
Guess I'm always sentimental 'round this time
Pardon me if a tear falls among my Christmas cheer
It's the memory of an Old Christmas Card
You know, I don't know why I get to feeling sentimental
about this time, every year
But every time I see a Christmas card,
I somehow can't help reminiscing
About the very first Christmas that you and I spent together
What a beautiful Christmas card you gave me that year

To find that wonderful poem that still brings a tear to my eyes

Thank You For Writting this Song!!!!!!!I have many Fond Memories of The Old Cards we Did Get in the Mail when I was Young! and Even today I still have some. They Definately Bring Back Memories. I can Almost Hear Mom and Dad Playing old Christmas Music and Singing to the Songs on The Radio. This May Sound Funny ,But My Dad played the Bones! I'm am not sure of How many of you's out there have Heard of Them. He Played them when he was in his Mid 30's to late 70's .Till He Passed Away .This made him Happy.I do have a few Tapes of him on it. The Bones are Made of Real Wood Made of Tree Branches ,and Shaped like The Ribs of a Person .with a Few Coates of Wood Varnish. To Preserve the Wood .So They Last a long ,Long Time.I can Be Reached by Email. My Address is (Pattyanoon57@gmail.com) Please dont get Confused by the Difference in my Name.My Name has Changed to what it Says in the Email. But I go by Patty Ann Spaulding to most of My Family !
