I love every single song by avenged sevenfold. The lyrics speak more than a lot of people realize. I am a die hard fan and always will be. my back is filled with dedication tattoos and I listen to their music every single day with no fail. All of these songs mentioned in these comment areas make a lot of sense. Only read the ones with meaning though.

If you think A7X's song are awezome try listen to a band called "PanterA" ... They are one of the main bands that are responsible for the formation of A7X ;)

This song reminds me of how meany people and woman betrayed me and left me with and epic time of my life wasted away that's why I listen to A7X all the time there lyrics are so understanding and the use great rifts and solos in there tunes. Just hearing shadows scream this song make me cry when I listen and scream along to it. The last gf I had was not happy when I song it to here live when we broke up. But she deserved it. David R

this song is true. the one who gets hurt will always remember the good times that happened , but also the pain that the other person caused. as bad as it hurts in the end there is something that can be learned from every relationship, no matter how bad it was.

The thing I love so much about this band is the fact they don't just focus on how this girl doesn't like them, they'll never find someone, blah, blah, blah. They focus on so much more. I love how this is about a broken friendship, how many other bands have done that? It's something most of us can relate to. Reminds me of a friend who ditched me. Oh well, it's her loss.

This song is absolutely amazing. Beyond the lyrics and the obvious pain in the heart behind them, the music plays an important role in telling this "Epic."
It certainly feels like time was wasted and washed away when you've been betrayed so greatly by someone you loved and trusted. Be it friend, or lover, pain will ensue.
And the "end reality" truly is that as much as you'd like to forget, you can't. You want the person who hurt you to be the one to remember, but it seldom is... you're ultimately the one who will remember the pain.
