I think so many people can relate to this song. Wanting someone so much that you will saccrafice and compromise you entire being to have their love. There's something grounding about this song. It doesn't romantasize dying for love. It does the opposite by telling how you're fine the way you are and hurting yourself for love is the opposite of whag love is all about.

ok the song is really good, but the glenn turner quote is what really grabbed my attention, especially this line "And when the right thing comes along, you don't believe in it. When I'm coming in knocking on the front door, you're out the back door looking for four leaf clovers. "He’s unresponsive ‘cause you’re irresponsible" -- I'm not used to these kind of lyrics from Death Cab. I recently got 'You Can Play These Songs with Chords" and its amazing how different they sound now. Its so different, but still really good.
Probably my favourite song on the album (with the exception of 'Two Cars')
