    I don't personally find this song depressing but instead think it is beautiful. It is indeed as the other reviewer alluded to a desolate soundscape but the fact that she took some feeling like this and turned into a beautiful song I find inspiring.

    this song just drags you across a rough sound scape
    and is all the way just horribly depressing,even for a cat power song.

    i like it but it can be so painful to get through.
