I found out that Aerosmith used to be major druggies and alcoholics, they would do cocaine, heroine, you name it. It got so bad that Steven Tyler the lead singer even had concussions on stage and he would forget his lyrics and it was just really bad. The nonstop touring wasn't helping either, Aerosmith was officialy burnt out. With tensions getting high sexy Joe Perry the lead guitarist and backround vocals quit and had a 5 year break. After everyone cooled down and was sober Aerosmith got back togethor (thank god I don't know what I would do if Aerosmith didn't exist) they bounced back singing walk this way featuring Run DMC hitting the billboard charts at #5 (I think). To me Aerosmith are heroes becasue they went from just living in a small apartment with 5 guys and being addicts to living the big life! Love you Aerosmith you'll always be my rock gods!!!! I'm 43 years old -- grew up listening to Aerosmith -- seen them twice in concert -- (love Steven Tyler -- beautiful daughter too by the way) -- also they the whole band (team) puts on one hell of a show!!! (Myself 1st time I saw them -- extremely wasted -- 2nd time not) Even better when the HARDCORE drug/alchol use simmered down!!! (made my own life better too) I'm nosaint I still do some partying!!!
