All The Same Lyrics - Sick Puppies

Review The Song (12)

I dont mind where you come from
As long as you come to me
But I dont like illusions I cant see
Them clearly
I dont care, no I wouldn't dare
To fix the twist in you
You've shown me eventually what you'll do
I dont mind
I dont care
As long as you're here

[Chorus]

Go ahead and tell me you'll leave again
You'll just come back running
Holding your scarred heart in hand
It's all the same
And I'll take you for who you are
sponsored links
If you take me for everything
And do it all over again
It's all the same

Hours slide and days go by
Till you decide to come
But in-between it always seems too long
For certain
But I have the skill, yeah
I have the will, to breathe you in while I can
However long you stay is all that I am

I dont mind, I dont care
As long as you're here

Go ahead and tell me you'll leave again
You'll just come back running
Holding your scarred heart in hand
It's all the same
And I'll take you for who you are
If you take me for everything
And do it all over again
It's always the same

Wrong or Right
Black or White
If I close my eyes
Its all the same

In my life
The compromise
I'll close my eyes
Its all the same

Go ahead say it
You're leaving
You'll just come back running
Holding your scarred heart in hand
It's all the same
And I'll take you for who you are now
If you take me for everything
Do it all over again
It's all the same

Something Strange | Reviewer: Maxine | 6/20/12

Every thing about the song confuses me. I don't know where the puppy comes in or who the puppy is. But for the most of it, it snounds like a mom and a teenager who just bickering about running away.

Gorgeous | Reviewer: Kamie | 5/23/10

With my cousin being Emma Anzai (female bassist) I believe in Sick Puppies alot. This song sends a beautiful message out to everyone, and shows the true meaning of trying to fit into this world. It's a gorgeous song, from a gorgeous and extremely under-rated band. Love you Sick Puppies <3

Why "It's all the same" is on free hugs | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/10/09

Juan Mann is actually a friend of the band, and when his grandmother died he was so sad that sick puppies wrote this song for him. After Juan made the FREE HUGS campaign, the song became the international song for it.

the story | Reviewer: austin | 5/17/09

the whole free hugs campaign started when juan mann became depressed after losing all his family and when he arrived at the airport in sydney he noticed how happy everyone was when they were in the arms of their loved ones so he decided he would make other people feel good by giving anyone and everyone a hug. we sorta studied this in my leadership class so yeah. thats the whole story behind it

disagreement | Reviewer: kayleigh | 9/13/08

I completely disagree that the song is "depressing" when viewed without the free hugs video. It can be percieved or analyzed in many ways. In my opinion, the core meaning of the song is "acceptance" among people. We're all the same. Even though people lose faith and turn their back on life, they will seek comfort and others - and there will be others to accept them when they come back hopeful. A beautiful song!

I love this song. It's amazing, especially in the message it carries when paired with the free hugs video. It's really a depressing song though, when one actually listens to the words and looks at them away from the 'free hugs' relation...

Also, just because I can't help myself, technically, Sick Puppies didn't 'team up' with Juan Mann, they made the video for him because he was depressed when a family member died. I believe that's how it started, anyway.

Good song | Reviewer: Delani | 10/19/07

It's a great song! The vids great too. I like this song because except for the ending (The video ending where he gives up on her) it fits two characters in a story my friend and I write. The keep having to leave each other, sometimes simplely to protect the other. It's a good song.

This song sends shivers up my spine.....I cannot stop listening to it. Such a beautiful message and when they teamed up with Juan Mann for Free Hugs it just goes together amazingly. Thank you Sick Puppies.

Wonderful Song. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/9/07

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard! The lyrics mean so much to me and the people in my class. If you type 'Free Hugs' on YouTube, you can watch a young man in Sydney, holding a paper which states 'Free Hugs'. It's recorded with this song and the 'movie' gets much more meaning than if you watch it without the song. The Free Hugs campaign means so much to me and I'm planning on doing one in my small town myself. But back to this song, it's a wonderful song by a wonderful band. And I'm planning on bying their album, but I cannot find it ANYWHERE!!! Anyway, I love the song and think you should watch the video on YouTube.
Free Hugs to everybody who reads this and supports the campaign.
xoxo Latoya
