All My Tears Lyrics - Jars Of Clay

Review The Song (5)

When I go, don't cry for me
In my Father's arms I'll be
The wounds this world left on my soul
Will all be healed and I'll be whole.
Sun and moon will be replaced
With the light of Jesus' face
And I will not be ashamed
For my Savior knows my name.

It don't matter where you bury me,
I'll be home and I'll be free.
It don't matter where I lay,
All my tears be washed away.

Gold and silver blind the eye
Temporary riches lie
Come and eat from heaven's store,
Come and drink, and thirst no more

It don't matter where you bury me
I'll be home and I'll be free
It don't matter where I lay
All my tears be washed away

So, weep not for me my friends,
When my time below does end
For my life belongs to Him
Who will raise the dead again.

It don't matter where you bury me,
I'll be home and I'll be free.
It don't matter where I lay,
All my tears be washed away.

All My Tears | Reviewer: Patricia Hahn | 10/30/11

I attended Saddleback Church today 10/30/2011 and had the privilege of hearing Jars of Clay sing All My Tears. It touched my heart like I couldn't believe and I truly want this song to be sung when God decides to take me from this earth.I as well have heard many songs about death, but this made me feel so happy and I want my family and friends to know this when I join our Lord in heaven. I honestly have to say the words in this song gave me such a peace that I'll never forget

i listened to this song and i thought of my mum's funeral the fact that i missed it ..it pained me more not to have seen her casket i felt like i was denied a chance to say bye ...but listening to this song all that doesnt matter for i know and hear her speak to me that "it doesnt metter that i missed her funeral it doesnt matter she is in the fathers arms and free ...hence no crying no more ..

Joy When I Die | Reviewer: Debi Walker | 5/16/09

I have heard many songs about death and what people sing and write about dying but what a song!!!! I am making sure that this is played at my death whenever the Lord takes me home. How wonderful to think in this way rather than having people cry over our death if we are saved! Because I know when I die I too, will be in front of my Lord and Savior looking into the eyes of pure love. To think about it right now I wonder would it be something I could stand.... so powerful... so magnificent!

my close friend Ryan Cadogan just passed. He was 18 and had a disease called neurofibromitosis. Him and his brother both did and they were in and out of the hospital for months. Ryans in heaven now with his Lord. No more pain or tears. I miss him so much but he is in a much better place. Ry knew the words of this song were true and so do i. I have a peace that surpasses all understanding. I love you Ryan! I can't wait to see your smile again when we meet at heavens gates! <3 .
