this song appears to be based on (or at least simular to) the sun poem by charles causleyin 1632, "I am the great sun, but you do not see me,

Pretty song, kinda sad though.
The song is filled with some kind of hopeless love, self loath. The self loath kind of reminds me of Creep.

And yeah I agree with Leo.
Thom Yorke is a huge and crucial factor, his lyrical genius is unmatched, and his singing is so unique.
There aren't many who can sing like that. And I dont mean just how high he can sing, but also how he sings so strongly.

His singing is full of emotion, so rich, it dominates the mood of the song. The guy's a gift to the world, radiohead is the miracle enabled by the gift.

I wouldn't be radiohead if one of the members went missing. The reason they're so good is cuz each member is good enough, or enough of a genius, to start their own band and have it be musically successful

you are right, but you cant deny that thom yorke is in, at least 50 percent, the brain of radiohead. And the other members of the band accepted it. Anyway my point is.. it wouldnt be radiohead without him

i could not agree more with your review, except to say that the brilliance of radiohead is not thom yorke. It is each and every member of the band working together (as lame as that sounds its true). No 1 man is not brilliant enough to be radiohead.
