Aliengates was founded in spring 2000 from David Oberthaler
(1977) [vocals] and Pascal Beer (1978) [guitar]. A second
guitarist was found in Filipe Gordilho [1979]. After the
normal lineup-changes in the beginning, the band started
the work in April 2001 with two new Aliengates-members,
Mischa Demarmels (1980) [drums] and Roman Friedrich (1980)
[bass]. All of the "aliens" had already made their
experiences in other local metal- and rock-bands.

After some very intensive weeks of practicing, the decision
was made to record a self financed EP. "Dark Days Quantum"
was the result of this studio-session in October 2001.
Worldwide, the reaction was very positive.

After the recording-session, many gigs followed, and made
the band to a well-known value in the Swiss met More...
