I make no apologies for my discursive ramblings, let me
just clarify that before I begin. The tale of how the band
came into existence is one that I'm frequently asked by
magazine journalists and fanzine afficienados, and is a
tale that torments my awful memory. Perhaps I should have
kept a diary, Perhaps.

As an iconoclast by nature I feel that I should start at
the end and work my way backwards to see where I've come
from, and to discern my route (like crazy-paving, no doubt)
but I have no idea where this journey will end, or when.
Pay attention, I'm not so sure that I shall ever attempt to
recall this much detail again, I shall begin with my first
memory of Mendonca.
