Yes, it's supposed to do that, it's not just a funky disc. My guess is a stylistic choice to give a more abrupt transition into the lyrics and add to the eerie feel. Effective tactic, I think. Good song!

Does anyone know if the song is suppossed to skip in its intro? I can't seem to find any normal version...
