Comedian/actor Adam Sandler was born in Brooklyn, NY in
1966 but raised in Manchester, NH. Though goofy as a child,
Sandler never aspired to be a comedian until age 17 when
his brother encouraged him to perform at a Boston comedy
club.


He continued to perform after he left Boston to attend New
York University and after graduation became a regular on
MTV's humorous game show, "Remote Control". He starred in
his first film, Going Overboard, in 1989, and later became
a Saturday Night Live cast member during the 1990-91

That would be a great name for this song, seeing how bloody God awful those cars are. I've been in one and there were such big holes in the floor that the floor mats had fallen out, the heater didn't work and there was a half-eaten KFC in the glove box. Ugh!

Also it would describe the minibuses at my school. Put bluntly, they suck too. In one of them the seatbelts don't work and the first aid kit is above one of the seats (I smacked my head on it 4,000 times) and the seats are all torn and the body is really rusty, in another one the headrests are uncomfortable and the bodywork is rusty that it has been covered by electrical tape and in yet another one the handbrake cable snapped and wrapped around the axle and locked the wheels! ZOMG!!

Before my new husband and I married, we were looking up songs to be played at our wedding and reception, and when I googled wedding songs, this popped up. We thought it would lighten things up at the reception, to play this. We just had a small backyard wedding. As with every wedding, we had a few glitches right before the ceremony. No one had gone over the playlist with our DJ for the ceremony itself. I thought my husband had, and he thought I had. I scrambled around 5 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle and could not find the song we had planned for the wedding party to walk down the aisle by, so you guessed it! This was the song! As people listened, you heard laughter, but most of all, you heard people saying it was the best choice they had ever heard! This song will always be part of our hearts!

I'm ashamed to say I'd never heard this song until it was sung at my wedding. I'd heard of The Wedding Singer but had never seen the film. A very talented friend and musican came to my wedding with the intention of singing a couple of Beatles love songs for me and my husband, which he did. He then finished up with this song stating it was his favorite wedding song. After hearing it I must admit it's now mine as well. Thank you Dennis for singing this for me and Clive. It will be "our" song now and forever.

I've never actually been able to express exactly how I feel to my gf, but this song just does all of it.
