------ About the song Scenario performed by A Tribe Called Quest
This song was straight off of LONS successful singles including Case of The PTA, and Busta was just known as the "one wilin' out" from that group. Tribe already had its mass of hardcore followers.
BUT...when they went live on Arsenio Hall with this joint? They ripped it UPPPPP!!! Busta pulled off his hat and turned it inside out while someone was holdin' his mic...put that joint back on his head lookin like a straight up nubian Cat in the Hat and KILLED IT!
Thats when I knew he was gonna be a problem.
This is the first song I EVER played on the air, and it continues to be requested heavily on my Old Skool Show.
LOVE IT ~T

------ About the song Scenario performed by A Tribe Called Quest
I argue that this is in fact the first ANTHEM track in Hip Hop. Before this track (on a large scale) Hip Hop was about the "scenario", what was going down in the lives of the MC's or some crazy made up shit. This song was the first to simply ask what the scenario was as the MC's told you all the reasons they were the greatest. Every track that followed for the next ten years was just an attempt to live up to this.

------ About the song Scenario performed by A Tribe Called Quest
Me and my friend were reviewing some beats I had made and "re-made" and remixed just messin around in my car... and this one beat I made kinda made us think about rappin this song to it, I had my camera and we busted it out real quick... its 2009 and this song still sounds bad ass.

------ About the song Find A Way performed by A Tribe Called Quest
Has anyone noticed how some songs just have to be sang along to? It's as if a universal cord pulls our heart strings making us tap our feet and repeat lyrics; the world exhales these words as one body. This is a great tune, blaze it.
ATCQ chisels a beautiful piece from J Dilla's rock of a beat.

------ About artist/band A Tribe Called Quest
A Tribe Called Quest is a critically acclaimed and highly-influential American hip-hop group, formed in 1988. The group is composed of rapper/producer Q-Tip (Kamal Fareed), rapper Phife Dawg (Malik Taylor), and DJ/producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad. A fourth member, rapper Jarobi White, left the group after their first album but appears to have rejoined the group since 2006. Along with De La Soul, the group was a central part of the Native Tongues Posse, and enjoyed the most commercial success out of all the groups to emerge from that collective. Their innovative fusing of hip hop and jazz has had a lasting impact on hip hop music, helping to expand the art of hip hop production. Many of their songs, such as "Bonita Applebum", "Can I Kick It?", "Scenario", and "Electric Relaxation" are regarded as classics of the genre.
They released five albums in ten years, the first three of which were very highly acclaimed, and disbanded in 1998. In 2006, the group reunited and toured the US and plan to release an album after some works in the studio. The group is generally regarded as pioneers of alternative rap music[citation needed], having helped to pave the way for socially aware hip-hop artists. All Music Guide calls them "the most intelligent, artistic rap group during the 1990s". [1] In 2005, A Tribe Called Quest received a Special Achievement Award at the Billboard R&B Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta.[2] In 2007, the group was formally honored at the 4th VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

------ About the song Scenario performed by A Tribe Called Quest
I had just started working at a Teen Newspaper, I was 17 and at odds with the NWA/Too Short/Compton's Most Wanted sound that was dominating the lexicon.
Two dudes that I had just met, played the death out of "Low End Theory" my first week in the Graphic Dept. We all had different tastes as a whole but Tribe unified us... So much so that when we began to vocalize our own stuff, it was the Native Tongue that we wanted to emulate.

SO MANY YEARS AGO I HEARD THIS SONG, AND THIS BRINGS BACK ALOT OF MEMORIES
AS A former DJ, THIS IS THE MOST REQUESTED SONG FROM ITS ERA. BOTH, A TRIBE CALLED QUEST AND LEADERS OF THE NEW SCHOOL, MADE AN IMPACT ON MUSIC TODAY AS INDIVIDUALS IN THEIR OWN CAREERS AND UNITED. ON A LIGHTER NOTE, I ALSO LISTEN TO THIS MP3 IN THE GYM, ITS MAKES YOU WANT TO GET UP AND JUST MOVE!
