this is definitelly one of my favorite songs ever, it's guitar and synth sounds, along with the sci-fi lyrics, just perfect
also, in my conception, the girl in the lyrics is a holographic decoy, made to hypnotize "Mike" and attract him to the ship's tractor beam

This is my all time favorite time from them. This is a really good song for your lover. The title has nothing to do with space. Paul Reynolds thought the title because it has a "space like beat" which was futuristic at the time. A good song from these guys

Its basically a good song and good lyrics , but I have been spoilt, as the version I know better is from the C4 Show "Boys will be Girls".AKA - by The Honeytraps........!!
Much faster with a more solid beat. Better all round arrangement .
But without the original the cover would not have happened ...!!! (so often the case ) , eg Gloria Jones -"Tainted Love" , and Judy Street's "What" - both covered by Soft Cell.
Many people don't even realise the originals exist.....!!
