.36 Lyrics - System of a Down

Review The Song (3)

Television in disgrace
Tonight you'll get off inter race?
Can you break out can you break
or will you live at your own pace

Life is so unnecessary

Television in disgrace
Tonight you'll get off inter race`
Can you break out can you break
or will you live at your own pace

now will you live at your own pace?

WILL YOU LIVE AT YOUR OWN PACE?

MEANING | Reviewer: Joe | 6/21/2008

36 is System of a Down's earliest work and 36th recorded song on the album. It appeared through their timeline dating back to their Untitled 1995 Demo Tape, then on Demo Tape 4/Self Titled Recording Sessions, played live in France as an untitled song, appearing on Toxicity II/Steal This Album! Recording Sessions, then finally on Steal This Album!. At forty-six seconds, this is the band's shortest song. Bassist Shavo Odadjian explained in a French interview that he was obsessed by the number 36.

Killer Sweet Song | Reviewer: Brian | 1/3/2008

36 is one of the best songs off of Steal this Album. i dont care what other people say about it, its one of my favorites. i especially love the grindcore scream at the final words. Killer!

36 sucks | Reviewer: Bob | 10/13/2007

Ok guys... I have every single song and every album to do with System of a Down and I believe that this is their worst song. Its not melodic and the music is completely unmatching. Its short purposeless and listening to it is a complete waste of time. It may seem like it has some meanning from the lyrics but in the end it is utter bull$|-|iT
