And also it doesn't have to do with a break-up. Karen O ACTUALLY wrote this song to her audience. A love song to her audience, which is beautiful. So maps - is refering to the fact that they are forever travelling (maps = the world) and that they can never be with us all the time. They don’t love you like I love you is a beautiful and fantastic way to say to an audience that the YYY's do love you. And if you had bothered to read Nick Zinners book - he the guitarist by the way - you would know that he loves his YYY's crowds. Ive always liked the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and when i got Rock Band for xmas i was sooooo excited that this song was one of the songs on there. I play this song over and over because it has a special place in my heart due to the things in life that i face...
