one of the best song ever made.. such sorrow, has given the deepest meaning to everyones who has lost their love ones..

it really changed my view about how my life will always go on, and especially how you love and treat the one you love..

OMG!! | Reviewer: xanderthevampire | 3/8/10

This is the first song I've heard of x japan and its just so beautiful. yet... I know how u all feel. it reminds me of my dad. he died when i was 18 and i was with him the whole time. Maybe Yoshiki didnt realise it at the time but he hasnt just given the world a tribute to his own father, he's summed up the feelings of all of us whov ever lost a loved one and given us a tribute for all of them. Yoshiki should be held up as one of the greatest artists ever for this gift to the world.

Ending Bit | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/27/09

At the end it says:
If you could have told me everything
You would have found what love is
If you could have told me what was on your mind
I would have shown you the way
Someday I'm gonna be older than you
I've never thought beyond that time
I've never imagined the pictures of that life
For now I will try to live for you and for me
I will try to live with love, with dreams,
and forever with tears

i dun know japanese, but thru the english part of this song, i was touched by the lyric, simple but sentimentally beautiful. and after i knew the background why yoshiki wrote this song, i almost cried everytime when i listen to it. it is hard to imagine how a ten-years-old boy faced his dad died in front of him.
god bless yoshiki!

Toshi Yoshiki | Reviewer: Love X | 8/28/08

Ok I'm a big fan of X Japan and Tears is one of my favorite...But that leaves me with 1 question.
when the vocals are stooped the music keeps playing and Yoshiki starts saying something but I can't figure out what cause I can't understand it with the music playing background lol please help me I'm desperate here :):):) ^^

Best song ever... | Reviewer: Kirsty | 3/24/08

I know what you mean, Aena Jeanie, when I first heard this song, it was my aunty singing it to me, she loved X Japan, when I next heard it, it was being played at her funeral.
I discovered after that why that song was so sad, poor Yoshiki :(
Whenever I listen I always sing along, but I can never finish the song without crying.
X Forever
R.I.P Hideto!

THE BEST X-JAPAN SONG EVER! | Reviewer: Aena Jeanine | 12/30/07

For me this is the best X-Japan song that I've ever heard and this is a real tear-jerker for me... first heard some parts of this song from a Korean movie starring Jeon Ji-hyun then my brother downloaded the entire soundtrack. This song really made me cry because I kinda remembered my father through the lyrics (that was before I even knew that it was for Yoshiki's dad). The lines "NEVER THOUGHT YOU'D LEAVE ME ALONE" was the one who really triggers the tear ducts... I can never finish this song whenever I sing this...

This is a truely beautiful song. It was written by Yoshiki for his father who comited suicide. Which gives the song even more meaning. T-T

This song is truly the best. Every time I listen to it I discover more and more meaning behind the words when it makes me think of my own life and how my life relates to it, especially when you lose a loved one. GOD bless hide and xjapan! You guys rock!
